HotWax – She’s Got A Problem

UK trio HotWax announces their debut album, “Hot Shock,” set for release on March 7th, 2025, via Marathon Artists. The band shares “She’s Got A Problem” as the first single, building on the momentum of their 2023 EP, “Invite Me, Kindly.”

The album, co-produced by Catherine Marks and Steph Marziano at London’s RAK Studios, features contributions from Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa. The production team came together after Marks witnessed the band’s intense performance at Third Man Records’ Blue Basement. “I must record your next album. It needs to feel like a party”, Marks told the band after their show.

Bassist Lola Sam reflects on their journey: “Touring and living in the present can be chaotic but it also makes us braver with each experience we gain”. The Hastings-based trio, completed by Tallulah Sim-Savage (vocals/guitar) and Alfie Sayers (drums), continues to evolve their grunge-infused sound.
